A known bug in Internet Explorer 6 may prevent the correct visualisation of borders around text blocks; in this case, upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 or switching to another browser is suggested.
Turning on ClearType on Windows XP machines is recommended in order to optimise the font display (page headings may otherwise look jagged, especially if using Firefox).
To turn ClearType on, go to Control Panel > Display Properties > Appearance > Effects. In the Effects dialog, make sure the “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:” check box is checked and select ClearType from the drop down list; click OK in all of the windows and ClearType will be enabled. Please notice that ClearType is enabled by default in Internet Explorer 7.
